Defence & Security Advisor (Mid-level/Senior)

What will you do?

As a Defence & Security Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic consulting projects within the fields of defense, security, and international relations. You will work closely with partners, policymakers, and businesses both domestically and internationally. Your tasks will include:

• Drafting strategic analyses, policy advice, and market reports
• Conducting research on international security developments (EU, NATO, Ukraine, Brazil, and others)
• Identifying opportunities in public tenders, EU/NATO programs, and partnerships
• Representing PowerBrokers at diplomatic and public events
• Maintaining relationships with stakeholders in government, industry, and international organizations

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in defense, international relations, or public sector consulting
• An academic working and thinking level (e.g., in International Relations, Law, Security Studies, or Economics)
• Strong independence, strategic insight, analytical skills, and results-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (French, Portuguese, or Spanish is a plus)
• Affinity with geopolitics, international trade, and/or security policy
